Thank you for considering a membership with the Learning Disabilities Association of British Columbia, South Vancouver Island Chapter. We could not do the work we do without our members. As an organization we rely heavily on the support of our volunteers and contributions of people like you.
There are approximately 10,000 school age children with Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorders attending school on South Vancouver Island. We are the only organization on Vancouver Island providing specialized and affordable programs for these children and youth. Your membership ensures that LDA-SVI has a steady and reliable source of funding throughout the year to support these children in their learning. (/ to help these children reach their potential.)
As a member you will receive The Phoenix newsletter three times per year and the Learning Disabilities of Canada National Magazine. Membership also entitles you to free access our library with over 1,000 resources. You will also receive first-hand information about all our courses, and special events as they occur throughout the year.
The annual membership expires on August 31st of each year. You will receive a membership renewal notice well in advance to ensure you do not miss any important information. Your membership is also considered a charitable tax donation and receipts are provided.
